FamilyForward has been an organization close to Becky Reel’s heart and as a new board member, she is excited to contribute to the work of empowering local, low-income families.
We are delighted to welcome Becky Reel to the FamilyForward Board of Directors. Becky is invested in helping families in the northwest suburbs and enthusiastic about lending her skills to the board at FamilyForward.
Becky has spent the last 15 years of her career in a variety of marketing and product-marketing roles with fortune 500 companies. She is currently the executive director at For Papa’s Sake Home Care, located in downtown Arlington Heights. Becky resides in Arlington Heights with her husband, two kids and two dogs.
Becky received her undergraduate degree from Columbia College in Chicago, focusing on media management and communications. She also earned a master’s degree in business administration, focusing on organizational change and international business, from Lake Forest College.
Under Becky’s leadership, For Papa’s Sake was named the No. 1 home-care agency in North America in 2022 by Home Care Pulse, a leader in home-care quality assurance and caregiver training. In addition, For Papa’s Sake Home Care has received the leader in excellence award for the past five consecutive years. Becky was also named as a finalist for the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce 2020 Community Leader of the Year award.
FamilyForward has been an organization close to Becky’s heart. For the past four years she has worked with For Papa’s Sake to gather generous donations of gift cards and other contributions for our client families. This past year, For Papa’s Sake motivated its supportive community to provide more than $5,500 in gift cards for FamilyForward families for the holidays. For Papa’s Sake then matched this amount in a cash donation, increasing the total donation amount to more than $11,000.
Becky feels that the missions of For Papa’s Sake and FamilyForward are a good match, as both organizations focus on the community, helping families through challenging times. Becky joined the board in May 2022. “I appreciate FamilyForward’s focus on helping the community and am excited to contribute to the work of empowering local, low-income families.”
